"Who's Calling?" is an application that displays the name of the incoming caller or message sender. It offers several main features:
- Supports phone calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and custom apps (such as FB Messenger)
- Utilizes the default Text-To-Speech (TTS) engine and language pack. Please ensure that the TTS settings have the necessary "voice data" installed.
- Allows customization of the spoken caller ID format, such as using the first name or display name.
- Enables disabling certain contacts or assigning them a custom name.
- Adjusts the speech volume relative to the ring tone volume.
- Offers a test mode for simulating incoming calls and messages.
- Mutes speech by simply flipping the phone.
- Configurable number of repetitions for the caller ID announcement.
- Possible to activate alerting only when connected to a Bluetooth hands-free device. Please note that, in this mode, the caller name will still be read out through the smartphone's speakers.
*The application uses the accessibility service API to read notifications from enabled messaging apps, but it neither stores nor shares this information.
